Quang Tri speeds up site clearance for bet88 project

Authorities of central Quang Tri province have requested relevant agencies, investor and contractors to speed up site clearance to accelerate the Quang Tri bet88 project.

The projected bet88, covering more than 265 ha in Gio Linh district, has investment capital estimated at more than VND5.8 trillion (nearly 7 million).

So far, over 140.5ha of land have been handed over to the investor.

Quang Tri bet88 will be a Level 4C one, according to the classifications of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and can cater to Code E aircraft, serve 5 million passengers and handle 25,500 tons of cargo annually.

Construction of the project kicked off in July this year and the bet88 is scheduled to be put into operation in July, 2026.
