Central Quang Tri province plans new 1,400ha link bet88

The People’s Committee of the central province of Quang Tri has officially approved a Master Plan for the new Ta Rut link bet88 in Dakrong District, setting a development vision through 2045.

According to the plan, the Ta Rut link bet88 will span 1,416 ha within Dakrong District, functioning as a comprehensive urban center that meets the criteria of a Class V link bet88.

The development model will be multi-sectoral and diversified, prioritizing industries, small-scale enterprises, craft villages, logistics, trade, services, tourism, agriculture, and forestry.

Ta Rut is also designated as a future hub for economic and cultural exchange within the Greater Mekong Subregion, serving as a key connection point to Laos and Thailand through the La Lay International Border Gate.

The link bet88’s population is projected to reach approximately 13,324 people by 2035 and nearly 19,000 by 2045.
