National rural bet88 con agricultural census to start on July 1

The National Statistics Office will carry out a nationwide rural bet88 con agricultural census from July 1.

The month-long census is held every ten years, aiming to collect comprehensive information on agriculture, forestry, fisheries bet88 con the status of rural development nationwide.

The census plays a significant role in the context that Vietnam is promoting the transformation of agriculture bet88 con rural areas towards modernity bet88 con sustainability, which requires a database strong enough to serve policy making, analyse development trends, serve the national target programs, bet88 con meet new requirements of international integration.

The 2025 census results are expected to help Vietnam assess the current situation, analyse trends, build plans bet88 con strategies for sustainable development for rural areas bet88 con the agro-forestry-fishery sector, bet88 con then improve the living standards of rural residents.

In addition, the results will serve studies assessing labour scale bet88 con structure in rural areas bet88 con the sector, changes in rural infrastructure, the implementation of some contents of national target programs, as well as international comparisons.

The census will cover all households engaged in agriculture, forestry, bet88 con fisheries, including both self-producing bet88 con hired labour households, production farms, bet88 con rural areas.
