Newly developed industrial parks are oriented towards being green and ecological industrial parks.

Regarding transport, the city's People's Committee has submitted a proposal to the City People's Council for a resolution approving a transport development plan aimed at reducing traffic congestion and environmental pollution on Cat Ba Island by 2025.
