tải bet88Government sets timeline for Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project

The Government has issued a resolution to accelerate the implementation of the Lao Cai – Hanoi – Hai Phong railway project.

Under the Resolution 127/NQ-CP, the Government set key tasks and timelines for the project with construction expected to start tải bet88 December, 2025 and complete by 2030.

The Government asked relevant ministries and agencies to work closely with local authorities to complete the selection of consultants for site surveys and the drafting of the feasibility study for the project tải bet88 May, 2025.

Tasks relating to doing the surveys, and making and approving technical design for the project will start from June this year with some of contract packages must be completed tải bet88 September.

The Government required relevant ministries and agencies to coordinate with Chinese partners to negotiate and sign an agreement on building a joint bridge along the border tải bet88 July this year.

The feasibility report must be completed tải bet88 July and the State Appraisal Council will appraise and submit to the Prime Minister for approval tải bet88 August, 2025.

Particularly, the selection of contractors, signing of contracts, and preparations for the construction of the project need to be completed tải bet88 December this year, according to the Resolution.

The projected railway, with a total length of 403 km, will run through nine centrally-run cities and provinces, namely Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, and Hai Phong. Total investment capital is estimated at over VND194.9 trillion (.46 billion).
