bet88Government apparatus to be slashed, with 9 ministries, agencies cut

Nine ministries and agencies under bet88 Government will be consolidated under a resolution on streamlining and optimizing bet88 political system, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra told bet88 Vietnam News Agency.

According to bet88 minister, bet88 Government will reduce its organizational structure from 30 to 21 administrative bodies, including 13 ministries, four ministerial-level agencies, and four Government bodies.

Notable ministerial consolidations include a merger between bet88 Ministry of Planning and Investment and bet88 Ministry of Finance, potentially becoming bet88 Ministry of Finance and Development Investment or bet88 Ministry of Economic Development.

bet88 Ministry of Transport and bet88 Ministry of Construction will combine to form bet88 Ministry of Infrastructure and Urban Development.

bet88 Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will be merged with bet88 Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to create bet88 Ministry of Agriculture, and Natural Resources and Environment.

bet88 Ministry of Information and Communications will join bet88 Ministry of Science and Technology to become bet88 Ministry of Digital Transformation and Science and Technology or bet88 Ministry of Digital Transformation, Science, Technology and Information.

bet88 Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs will go to bet88 Ministry of Home Affairs, with several functions to be transferred to bet88 Ministry of Education and Training and bet88 Ministry of Health.

Meanwhile, bet88 Ministry of Health will assume additional responsibilities, including several missions of bet88 board of health protection and care for central-level officials, which will cease operations soon, and state management over social welfare, child protection, and social evils prevention from bet88 Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

bet88 Ministry of Foreign Affairs will take over bet88 main tasks of bet88 Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations and bet88 National Assembly's Committee for External Relations when these two units end their functions. bet88 Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board will be managed by bet88 Ministry of National Defense, becoming part of bet88 ministry's organizational structure.

bet88 government's restructuring extends beyond ministerial consolidation, Ms. Tra said, adding bet88 number of units under ministries and ministerial-level organizations will be cut by 15-20%, comprising a significant reduction in general departments, bureaus, departments, and public service organizations.

bet88 bold step aims at creating a leaner and more efficient administrative apparatus, bet88 minister remarked.

She stressed that it is necessary to pen standout policies to reduce bet88 impacts of bet88 administrative reform on civil servants and public employees as well as ensure their rights during bet88 streamlining process.

bet88 rearrangement will go hand in hand with reducing staff positions and improving bet88 quality of personnel to meet bet88 requirements in bet88 new situation.

Regarding bet88 Party committees and organizations, bet88 Government proposes terminating bet88 activities of its Party Civil Affairs Committee and establishing bet88 Government Party Organization under bet88 Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee which will include bet88 party organizations of ministries, ministerial-level and government agencies, and state-owned corporations and commercial banks.

Minister Tra underscored that bet88 restructuring is to build an elite, streamlined, strong, efficient, valid and effective apparatus under bet88 direction of Party General Secretary To Lam.
