.12 bln Lang bet88 con - Thai Nguyen expressway proposed

Authorities of northern Lang bet88 con province have proposed the Ministry of Construction to conclude the Lang bet88 con – Thai Nguyen expressway into the national road network plan for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

Under the proposal, the expressway will have a total length of 120 km, connecting the Dong Dang (Lang bet88 con) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang province) expressway to the Thai Nguyen - Bac Kan expressway.

Total investment capital is estimated at VND29 trillion (.12 billion). Of the total, some VND18 trillion (7 million) will be invested in the section running through Lang bet88 con and VND11 trillion (6 million) will be spent for the section through Thai Nguyen province.

The expressway will have four lanes and allow a maximum speed of 100 kph.

The project is scheduled to be implemented from 2026 to 2030.
